We live in a world that often asks us to choose to be strong or soft, logical or intuitive, structured or flowing. But the truth is, every single one of us carries both Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine energies within.
When these energies fall out of balance - we feel it in our bodies, our relationships, our work, and the way we live.
This is the essence of our upcoming retreat, Reclaim: Union of the Divine Masculine and Feminine - to remember that you are not either/or.
You are both.
Sun and Moon.
Structure and flow.
Fire and water.
In this blog, my co-facilitators for the retreat share their reflections on these energies, what it looks like when they are wounded, and how they return to wholeness.
The Divine Masculine
Every person carries both masculine and feminine energy within them, regardless of gender.
The right side of our body represents the masculine, while the left side reflects the feminine.
Just as the Sun guides masculine energy, bringing warmth and action, the Moon guides the feminine, offering softness and reflection.
When these energies are in harmony, our lives begin to feel aligned and whole.
But two years ago, I had no idea this balance even existed. Like many others, I believed that men embodied masculine energy and women, feminine energy. It felt obvious, until life invited me into a deeper truth.
When my world flipped upside down, I found myself stepping into complete responsibility for my life. I began making bold decisions, taking consistent actions, and leading without a pause.
It felt powerful at first. I thought the more I worked, the more I’d succeed.
I believed staying busy would keep the chaos away and that being in control meant being safe.
But underneath the surface, I was burning out.
What I didn’t realize then was that I was operating from the wounded masculine.
And many of us are.
Wounded masculine energy is fast, forceful, and constantly trying to prove itself. It pushes us to chase achievements, validate worth through work, and suppress vulnerability. It shows up in rushing, overworking, micromanaging, and even comparing ourselves to others just to feel “enough.” It’s a state of inner war dressed as productivity.
In contrast, Divine Masculine energy is something entirely different. It is calm, composed, and deeply protective, not overpowering, but empowering. Divine Masculine holds space, creates structure with softness, and understands that rest is not laziness, it’s a sacred recharge. It doesn’t rush to chase success, because it trusts that what is meant for it will never be missed. It moves slowly but steadily, like the Sun rising with quiet confidence every morning.
The Divine Masculine doesn’t seek to control others; it guides with integrity.
So, how do you know which masculine is running your life?
Pause for a moment and ask yourself:
Are you constantly trying to prove your worth?
Do you avoid rest, thinking it will slow you down?
Do you find yourself chasing things instead of attracting them?
Does anger take over when things don’t go your way?
Are you overwhelmed by chaos, yet afraid to pause?
If these resonate, it might be your wounded masculine speaking. And there’s no shame in that.
Many of us have lived like this for years. But becoming aware is the first step toward healing.
Healing the masculine doesn’t mean abandoning strength.
It means redefining it.
Strength can be still.
Leadership can be gentle.
Structure can be sacred.
And action, when aligned, can uplift.
As I’ve begun healing my masculine energy, I’ve come to honor both my Sun and my Moon. I’ve realized that true power lies not in doing more, but in doing what matters with presence.
And maybe you’re here to remember that too.
The Divine Feminine
What is she, really? We hear a lot about the Divine Feminine these days but what does it mean? Is it softness? Is it intuition? Is it wildness?
The truth is, she’s all of it.
The Divine Feminine is not a single quality.
She’s a spectrum of archetypes: seven distinct faces that live within us:
The Maiden – innocence, curiosity, play
The Lover – sensuality, passion, intimacy
The Mother – nurture, compassion, creation
The Huntress – independence, focus, strength
The Queen – sovereignty, leadership, dignity
The Priestess – wisdom, intuition, connection
The Wild Woman – authenticity, untamed freedom
Together, they form the whole.
Most of us don’t live in the full spectrum. We over-identify with one archetype and abandon the others.
The woman who’s always the Mother may forget her Wild.
The one who leads as Queen may struggle to soften into Lover.
The Priestess lost in wisdom may forget to play like the Maiden.
This imbalance doesn’t just stay in our minds, it shows up in our relationships, our work, our bodies. We burn out, we feel stuck, or we wonder why something’s missing even when we’re “doing it all right.”
The truth is, you’re not meant to choose.
You’re meant to flow.
The Maiden keeps you light when life feels heavy.
The Lover brings passion back into the mundane.
The Mother roots you in care when the world feels harsh.
The Huntress gives you courage to walk your own path.
The Queen holds your dignity and self-respect.
The Priestess reminds you of the wisdom that’s always within.
The Wild Woman frees you from cages you didn’t even know you were in.
When you allow yourself to recognize which archetypes you’ve silenced, and reclaim them, you step into wholeness. You stop performing roles… and start living as your full self.
The Dance of Sun and Moon
The Divine Feminine does not exist in isolation. She is the flowing river that needs the riverbank, the moonlight that shines because the sun gives her contrast.
The Divine Masculine is structure, clarity, protection, action, and direction.
The Divine Feminine is flow, intuition, creativity, and surrender.
Without the Feminine, the Masculine becomes rigid, harsh, and dry.
Without the Masculine, the Feminine becomes scattered, unheld, and directionless.
When they are in balance:
The Feminine softens the Masculine’s edges with compassion.
The Masculine holds space for the Feminine’s flow to thrive.
She inspires. He builds.
She receives. He provides.
Together, they form the wholeness of creation itself.
The Divine Feminine doesn’t ask you to abandon what you already are. She asks you to expand to embrace every face of her that already lives within you.
Balance is not perfection.
Balance is permission.
Permission to move between softness and strength, wildness and wisdom, creation and rest.
And permission to let the Masculine and Feminine dance together within you so that you can live in harmony, not opposition.
That’s where freedom lives. In the full spectrum of your feminine flow, supported and balanced by the sacred masculine.
Reclaiming Union
At our retreat, Reclaim: Union of the Divine Masculine & Feminine, we will step into this sacred dance together.

Through ritual, embodiment, and deep exploration, you’ll have the space to reconnect to your Sun and Moon, to soften where you’ve hardened, and to strengthen where you’ve abandoned yourself.
If this calls to you, we invite you to join us:
And if you’d like to explore each energy more deeply on its own, you can also begin with the individual programs:
Because the truth is: wholeness is already within you.
Sometimes, you just need the right space to remember.
